Team USA Roster
Captain EJ Tackett previously selected Andrew Anderson and Ethan Fiore for the Team USA squad. With the addition of Simonsen, the four-man roster is now set.
Simonsen, age 29, is a two-handed bowler with 17 career titles and five majors. He has had a strong start to the 2026 season, winning the PBA Illinois Classic and finishing as the runner-up in the U.S. Open.
"It will be exciting to bowl long that team. It's always fun to represent the USA in any fashion. It's been a nice start to the season. I would probably argue with a lot of people that I should have already been on this team, but, I guess EJ knew what he was doing, and in hopes that I would get that number one seed, so looking forward to joining the guys," - Anthony Simonsen said after clinching the final roster spot.
Team World Roster
Captain Jason Belmonte chose Jesper Svensson of Sweden and Dom Barrett of the UK as his first two teammates. Graham Fach earned the final spot as the leading international player in 2026 competition points.
Fach is a 34-year-old left-hander from Canada with three PBA Tour titles. He already has one victory this season, which came at the PBA Pete Weber Missouri Classic.
"It's really satisfying when there's only one spot to be earned. We all competing for the same spot, so to come out ahead, I'm pretty excited. I represent Canada in everything I do. I always feel like having the leaf on my back is really important to me, and it's a real reason why I uphold myself the way that I do. So, to bring Canada to the world, there's nothing more I can do," - Graham Fach said. "I think my bowling speaks for itself, it's a great group of guys, I get along with them all, and it's gonna be a fun time, I think the world's gonna give them the best."
Match Format and Advantage
The event features four singles matches, with each match win worth one point.
The team with the highest total pinfall will earn two extra points. If the teams are tied at the end, a one-ball roll-off will determine the winner.
Team USA will enter the finals with a strategic advantage. EJ Tackett defeated Jason Belmonte 266–227 in a Captains Match held at the International Bowling Museum and Hall of Fame.
This victory gives Tackett the right to choose the lanes and decide the lineup order for the April 4 event.
