
With the pre-tournament qualifier complete, the PBA Pete Weber Missouri Classic kicked off today at Enterprise Park Lanes in Springfield, Mo.
Seven players advanced to the main field after a seven-game pre-tournament qualifier: Alec Keplinger, Blake Demore, Ethan Fiore, Nicholas Pate, Robert Shine, Tim Gruendler, and Timmy Tan.
Tomorrow, the competition moves to the 18-game qualifying round on the 45-foot Dick Weber oil pattern. The top 24 will advance to match play, leading up to the stepladder finals on Sunday, Feb. 16, live on FS1 at 1 p.m. ET.
Anthony Simonsen enters as the defending champion, having claimed victory last year by defeating AJ Johnson, Matt Russo, and EJ Tackett in the stepladder finals.
