The Advancers Round at the PBA New York Classic is complete, and the field has now been reduced to 24 players who will continue into match play.

Kyle Troup, who led the field after qualification, continues to control the tournament. Troup added a strong six-game block of 1,525, not shooting a single game below 222, to extend his lead. After 22 games, he sits at 5,250 total pins, averaging 238, and holds a 108-pin advantage over second place.
