With the pre-tournament qualifier complete, the PBA Mike Aulby Nevada Classic kicked off today at Coconut Bowl at Wild Island in Reno, Nevada.
Five players advanced to the main field after a seven-game pre-tournament qualifier: Ethan Fiore, RJ Golisano, Alec Keplinger, Ryan Burton, and Dallas Leong.
Today, the competition moves to the 18-game qualifying round on the 39-foot Aulby oil pattern. The top 32 will advance to an additional six-game elimination round, after which the top 16 will bowl another six games to determine the five players who will compete in the stepladder finals on Saturday, March 15, live on FS1 at 3 p.m. PST.
