Cam Crowe Leads 12 Cheetah Championship Advancers at WSOB XVII

The PBA Cheetah Championship qualifiers are complete at the World Series of Bowling XVII. The top 12 players have secured their spots in match play and the televised finals.

After 10 games of qualifying, Cameron Crowe led the field with a total of 2,465 pins. Close behind was PBA Ohio Classic winner Spencer Robarge with 2,426, followed by Matt Sanders with 2,399.

Zachary C. Tackett finished fourth with 2,364, while Packy Hanrahan took fifth with 2,319. Bill O’Neill secured sixth place with 2,315, just ahead of local bowler Brandon Kreyer in seventh with 2,314.

PBA Players Championship winner Brandon Bonta placed eighth with 2,308, followed by Kris Prather in ninth with 2,301. AJ Johnson rounded out the top 10 with 2,298.

The final two spots in the top 12 went to Hayden Stippich with 2,289 and Chase Nadeau with 2,287, both advancing to the next stage.

Just missing the cut was Sweden's Joachim Karlsson, who finished 13th with 2,284, falling short by only three pins.

These top 12 players will move on to match play and the finals, which will air live on CBS Sports Network on May 9.

The World Series of Bowling XVII now shifts focus to the PBA Chameleon Championship. Qualifying begins with two five-game rounds scheduled for Saturday on 11:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. local.

After another 10-game block, the field will again be reduced to the top 12, who will advance to match play and the finals, airing on CBS Sports Network on May 10.
