Mika Koivuniemi has announced that he is joining Brunswick Bowling, marking a return to the brand.

The announcement was shared at the start of 2026 on his socials. Koivuniemi reflected on a journey that began three decades ago when he left Finland to pursue his bowling career.

Koivuniemi spent recent seasons as a free agent, but the Finnish legend has a long history with Brunswick brands.

Earlier in his career, he represented companies such as Ebonite and Columbia 300, both of which are part of Brunswick.

In 2025, Koivuniemi captured the PBA50 Petraglia Championship in Jackson, Michigan. The year before, he finished inside the top ten in every event he competed in, reached the stepladder finals eight times, and recorded three second-place results.

Across his career, Koivuniemi has won 14 PBA Tour titles, including three major championships. He was elected to the PBA Hall of Fame on October 1, 2018, recognizing his impact and consistency at the highest level of the sport.

About Brunswick

Brunswick has been one of bowling’s most established names since the late 19th century.

While the company once produced a wide range of products, bowling has always remained at the center of its identity. In 2019, Brunswick expanded its bowling portfolio by acquiring Ebonite, Hammer, Columbia 300, and Track, strengthening its position across all performance categories.
