The AIK International Tournament 2023 was conducted in Stockholm, Sweden during 26 December 2022 – 8 January 2023. 324 bowling athletes participated in this event, which is a part of European Bowlng Tour.
Kim Bolleby won the AIK International Tournament after final victory against Mattias Wetterberg in the final game. It was his third title in the European Bowling Tour of his career.
During the final day, three final stages plus a stage final were completed. Kim Bolleby was strongest in final stage 3 where 12 players participated and advanced as first to the stage final with 3730 points.
In the final, Kim Bolleby connected the grip early and won against Mattias Wetterberg with 279-208. Mattias Wetterberg had a tough recovery before the competition with a high fever and it was uncertain until the last moment whether he would be able to participate at all.
