After a full day of match play Friday at The Ashwaubenon Bowling Alley in Green Bay, Wisconsin, the 2026 Intercollegiate Team Championships finals are set.
On the women’s side, Jacksonville State and McKendree advanced to the title match. On the men’s side, St. Ambrose and Mount Mercy earned the two spots in the final.
Jacksonville State reached the women’s final with a perfect 4-0 match-play record. The team defeated Maryville 4-1 and Central Missouri 4-0 on Thursday. On Friday, Jacksonville State added two more wins over North Carolina A&T, first by a 4-0 score in Winners Bracket play and then by a 4-3 score in the bracket final.
McKendree also finished unbeaten in match play and moved into the women’s championship match with a 4-0 record. After entering the bracket as the No. 14 seed, McKendree defeated Mount Mercy 4-3 and Tulane 4-1 on Thursday. On Friday, McKendree edged Newman 4-3 and then defeated Louisiana Tech 4-1 in the bracket final to secure its place in the title match.
The men’s final will feature St. Ambrose against Mount Mercy, with both teams still unbeaten through bracket play.
St. Ambrose opened match play Thursday with a 4-1 win over Marian-Wisconsin and then defeated Wichita State 4-3. On Friday, St. Ambrose continued its run with another 4-3 win over Southern Nazarene, which had been one of the biggest stories of Day 1, in Winners Bracket play. In the bracket final, St. Ambrose again won by one point, defeating Marian-Wisconsin 4-3 to move into the championship match.
Mount Mercy advanced to the men’s final with a 4-0 match-play record. The team defeated Belmont Abbey 4-1 and Milligan 4-1 on Thursday. On Friday, Mount Mercy beat Lawrence Tech 4-2 and then Spring Arbor 4-2 in the bracket final.
Both championship matches will use a best-of-five Baker format.
The finals will be recorded Saturday in Green Bay and later shown on CBS Sports Network in May.
The women’s show is scheduled to air on May 5 at 7 p.m. Eastern, while the men’s final is scheduled for May 13 at 7 p.m. Eastern.
