Sweden’s Emil Holmberg won the Estonian Open 2026 at Elamus Bowling in Tallinn on Sunday, defeating William Svensson 218–205 in the championship match.
Holmberg won all three stepladder matches to secure the title and the €5,000 first prize. The tournament offered a total prize fund of €33,000, with Svensson collecting €3,000 as runner-up.
Holmberg began his stepladder run with a narrow 238–231 victory over Finland's Roni Leskinen. He then defeated Markus Lahti 259–233 to reach the title match.
Lahti finished third and earned €2,000, while Leskinen took fourth and €1,400.
Earlier, Holmberg had finished 15th in qualifying with 1,370 over six games, securing direct entry to the second final round. Tomas Käyhkö led qualifying with 1,419. Holmberg later beat Luukas Luostarinen 2–0 in the last 16 before coming from a game down to defeat Karo Hilokoski 2–1 in the quarter-finals.
