
The singles events at the 13th International Youth Friendship Bowling Championship 2025 in Doha, Qatar wrapped up today with exciting results! The Czech Republic and Colombia both came out on top in the Boy's and Girl's events.
In the Boy's event, the Czech Republic made an impressive debut, sweeping the podium. David Mojka took the gold medal with a score of 1487, while Jaroslav Zapletal earned silver with 1447, and Václav Kordulík claimed bronze with 1407. Qatar's Ibrahim Al Moraikhi also showed strong performance, finishing with 1403 and earning a bronze medal.
In the Girl's event, Colombia's Sofia Victoria Salas took gold with a score of 1247. Sweden's Doris Lundsten secured silver with 1136, and Sofia Naomi Ramirez of Colombia took home the bronze with 1134. Another Swedish player, Sandra Lundgren, was close behind with a score of 1125.
This year’s tournament saw 7 countries compete: Colombia, Czech Republic, Finland, Mexico, Peru, Qatar, and Sweden. With the Singles events now completed, the Doubles and Masters events are up next, promising more exciting action in the upcoming days.
