In the championship match, Barnes started with three straight strikes and quickly built pressure. Angelo opened with four straight spares before making a ball change and finding a better look in the second half of the game.

Barnes stayed ahead, added another strike run from the fifth frame, and finished with 258. Angelo struck five times over his final seven shots, but he could not close the gap. He finished with 211 and took second place.

Before reaching the title match, Angelo advanced through the stepladder by defeating Mark Dillard 236-210 and Tom Hess 231-210. Against Hess, Angelo delivered three strikes in the 10th frame to move into the final.
