
The Canadian Tenpin Federation has named Jade Cote and François Lavoie as the 2024 Bowlers of the Year in the Adult Division.
Jade Cote, from Farnham, Quebec, earned the honor with strong performances throughout the year. Her achievements include a 5th-place finish at Team Trials and the IBF World Championships, as well as representing Team Canada at the Pan Am Championships, where she finished 4th with the team and 6th in doubles. She also excelled in NCAA competition, winning the regional title and finishing 3rd at NCAA Nationals.
François Lavoie, originally from Quebec City and now based in Wichita, Kansas, had a standout year in international and professional events as well. He won gold in doubles and silver in singles at the Pan Am Champions of Champions tournament, along with a 4th-place finish in All Events. Lavoie also captured three major tournament victories, including titles at the PBA/PBA50/PWBA Jonesboro Trios, PBA Denver Regional, and New Mexico Open.
Both bowlers were key members of Team Canada in 2024, showcasing their talent on the national and international stage.
