Women’s Team Wins Gold
The Australian Women’s Team claimed gold after a close battle with Hong Kong. Over four games, they scored a total pinfall of 2,316, defeating Hong Kong’s 2,238 by 78 pins.
A strong second game of 645 made the difference, helping the team stay ahead. Amanda Threlfall led with a total pinfall of 626, supported by Courtney Bucknell’s 623. Dianne Demello (585) and Kate Juillerat (482) also contributed important scores, ensuring a team effort.

Men’s Team Triumphs
The Australian Men’s Team dominated the competition, winning gold with a total pinfall of 3,152, beating closest competitor's, Malaysia’s, total 3,035 by 117 pins. Kallan Strong led the team with an impressive 870 pinfall, including a high game of 248. Matthew Hurst (776), Tyler Allen (773), and Ashley Poelstra (733) contributed to the team’s consistent performance. The men started strong with an 819 pinfall in the first game, their highest of the event, and maintained their lead through all four games.
