After 32 games of intense qualifying, the top 16 players have been determined for match play at the 2025 PBA Players Championship, the fourth major of the season, held at David Small’s JAX 60 in Jackson, Michigan.
Fiore Leads the Pack
Twenty-year-old Ethan Fiore continues his breakout season by leading the field with a total pinfall of 7,308, averaging over 228 on the demanding 37-foot Don Carter oil pattern. Fiore has looked sharp and consistent all week, and he’ll enter Friday’s match play as the No. 1 seed.
Big Names in the Chase
Right behind Fiore is Kevin McCune, winner of this event in 2023, followed by Anthony Simonsen, the 2019 champion. Rounding out the top five are Mexico’s Arturo Quintero and Nick Pate, both bowling well through the qualifying rounds.
The defending champion Bill O'Neill finished 26th and did not make it to the match play.
